I am not an English native speaker, but I have been learning this language since I was about 5. I write poetry, both in Spanish and English. In 2000 I published my first book in Uruguay. It is called 'Mujer en poesia', and it shows my poems in English as well as some short stories in Spanish. One of my poems ('All alone with the sea') was selected to be in one of the Anthology books of www.poetry.com, 'Don't look back'. It was also selected to be in the CD Sounds of poetry. I have recently been asked to include another poem in an English Anthology book, Colours of the heart, published in UK by Noble House. I believe poetry is a precious way we have to show our feelings, and once it reaches other people, it doesn't belong to us anymore... but to the whole Universe. I love sharing my words with people. I strongly believe it's a way to touch each others' souls. I hope my words make you feel as happy as they make me when they are born inside my heart.
