- Home 'We don't pick you up.'
By: jacob fog erin-cilberto

'We don't pick you up.'

seven day rent-a-lover
emotional mileage included,
automatic heartbreak,

burning lips leave scars clutched
to
sticky shifted memory;
she exited on the first off ramp,
wouldn't try harder
and now it hurts

so much
i can't see thru the drops
on my windshield.
